Curry Pizza House, the concept that blends classic American pizza with Indian spices and curries, has expanded to South San Francisco, according to a press release.

The location, which opened May 8, is under the helm of franchisee Ajay Dhaliwal, who said he is excited to bring the experience to the city’s bustling downtown area.

“We are thrilled to bring this delicious concept, which seamlessly melds two cultures and invites everyone to the table for a ‘fresh and spicy’ experience to South San Francisco,” Dhaliwal said in the release.

Diners can expect the brand’s signature pizzas, appetizers and sides alongside mango lassies and beers on tap. The menu boasts creative pizzas like the Curry Chicken Masala Pizza and the Palak Paneer Pizza, featuring flavors familiar to Indian cuisine. Vegetarian options are plentiful, with pizzas like the Shahi Paneer and Aloo Chaat, alongside classics like Meat Lovers and Hawaiian. Thin, thick, gluten-free and cauliflower crusts are available.

Beyond pizza, Curry Pizza House offers a unique take on chicken wings with curried marinades. Soft drinks and a signature mango lassi round out the beverage selection.

The South San Francisco location features a modern aesthetic, ideal for dining with friends or watching sports on large-screen TVs.

This expansion adds to Curry Pizza House’s existing presence in California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The chain plans to open its first locations in Georgia later this year, with additional restaurants planned for Texas and California.
