Rockwall Farmers Market 2024 – The Rose Table

If there’s one thing y’all DM me about, it’s the adorable farmers market in my town. The Rockwall Farmers Market is held every Saturday May-September on the historic square in downtown Rockwall, my cute little lakeside town about 25 miles east of Dallas.

The farmers market has grown so much since I moved here! It’s bustling with vendors offering freshly baked breads and pastries, locally made ice cream, vine-ripened produce, fresh flowers and plants, jams, jellies, pickles, beef, seafood, chocolate, and more! There’s even live music to enjoy while strolling around.

Here are a few booths I will be frequenting. Note: not every vendor is at the market every week (some are only there every other week) and I missed the first week so I will be updating this article throughout the season.

Millcreek Farms

Millcreek Farms

Millcreek never disappoints when it comes to produce. I always pick up berries, potatoes, tomatoes, corn, plums, peaches, and more from this local farm.

Ashcraft Beef

If there’s one person I trust to supply beef to my parties, it’s Kellie Ashcraft. Not only is she a delight but also has an incredible product. I’m never without their ground beef in my freezer, but it’s the beef tenderloin that really sets Ashcraft apart.

Papi’s Kitchen

Papi's Kitchen

Papi’s has ruined me for pickles. One you try their award winning pickles, you’ll never go back! I also adore the F.R.O.G. jam.

Paperbird Flower Farm

It was the addition of Paperbird a couple of years ago that really made Rockwall Farmers Market transport me to France. To pick up a bouquet of locally grown flowers, are you kidding me? I always skip up to their booth humming the opening number from Beauty and the Beast.

My Plant Wagon

My Plant wagon

Another lovely booth for gardeners is My Plant Wagon, which has an impressive selection of plants including indoor plants such as pothos, snake plants, and more. I’m already regretting not getting several things I had my eye on!

Rareloom Garden

Rareloom offers plantable herbs and assorted baked goods such as croissants, banana bread, coffeecake, and cookies. Y’all know how picky I am about cookies and let me tell you: their chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Don’t skip their booth!

Bloom Baking Co

Bloom is best known for their authentic macarons. You might recognize the name from my Beauty and the Beast Tea Party, during which my guests said they were the best macarons they’d had outside of France. Enough said!

Savory Alaska

If you love seafood, then be sure to grab some goodies from Savory Alaska. Their products are insanely delicious. This might not seem local but the owner grew up in Alaska and now lives in Texas, selling the exemplary seafood caught by lifelong friends. I highly recommend their salmon!

I nearly fainted when I saw this Mediterranean booth: hummus and tzatziki and dolmas, oh my! These are a few of my favorite things. Be sure to grab some lemon pepper pita chips; they’re amazing.

Cowtippin Ice Cream

Cowtippin Ice Cream

Last but not least, I was shocked and delighted to see the addition of an ice cream vendor this year. They’re known for their alcoholic ice cream such as Nutty Amore with Amaretto and Sip of the Irish with whiskey, but I got the most amazing chocolate brownie explosion sans alcohol. This stuff is fantastic!

Rockwall Farmers Market is open 8 am – 12 pm every Saturday May through September. See you at the market!

It’s a quiet village,
