On Friday, March 8, Lion Cub’s Cookies celebrates the grand opening of its second store at 7105 N. High St. in Worthington! This joins its existing brick and mortar in Grandview.

For those who don’t know, Lion Cub’s Cookies was founded during the pandemic by Bradley Kaplan as a delivery service. We remember getting boxes of giant, warm chocolate chip cookies delivered to our doorstep – I mean, what’s not to love about that? He opened the Grandview storefront in June of 2021, and announced the Worthington one last year.

While they still focus solely on cookies, they rotate through 6-7 flavors at any given time, including weekly and seasonal specialties.

And they are all still mixed, rolled, and decorated by hand!

For my inaugural visit to the Worthington store, I picked up a classic chocolate chip, puppy chow, cookies and cream, and monster.

We’ve always enjoy Lion Cub’s Cookies – they’re big and soft without being crumbly or underbaked. For someone who grew up loving chocolate chip cookies, these always hit the spot.

Lion Cub’s policy is to keep cookies for up to two hours after they come out of the oven, and then to donate them.

Lion Cub’s Cookies is open Tuesday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
